An interview with Alexandra Vonk

Q: What motivates you as a professional wedding photographer?
A: I would like to give my brides and grooms a heritage for their children and grandchildren.
As it is one of the most important days of their lives, I am very honored to be a part of it and to give them all the wonderful memories of their day.

Q: What’s your expertise?
A: With my technical degree in photography I am specialized in wedding story telling.
Every wedding is a personal story. The couple have written it. I look through my camera for details and emotions to illustrate it.

Q: What’s the starting rate for your wedding planning services?
A: A 6-hour wedding photography package is priced at €1295, inclusive 200 – 400 digital photos.
Additional hours and wedding album options are possible.

Q: What kind of relationship do you build with your clients?
A: A mutual connection with the wedding couple is always very important to me as I will work very closely with them. I always think along with my clients about how to create a day that will be most enjoyable and unforgettable.

Q: Please offer ONE tip to expat brides who’s planning a wedding in the Netherlands?
A: Every photographer has his own style. Choose a photographer whose style you like and meet them to see if there is a personal connection.

Q: What do you like the most about Amsterdam?
A: The open minded culture of the people! If you have a chance; I would suggest a bike ride along the canals and enjoy the beautiful architecture.
